A lithographic print of an old house with a widow's watch on the roof. It appear to have been abandoned and the porch roof has caved in, many windows are missing curtains, and the widow's watch shutters are battered.
All the other pictures in this series give the impression they are rural prairie scenes. This one is more seaside in mood. The surrounding grass is more like dune grass than prairie weeds. The widow's watch adds to the idea of a house by the water.
The original painting was by Geoffrey Rock. The picture is signed in the print and printed on the white border.
The print is 9 x 14 inches and the total including border is 12.25 x 17 inches.
This is one of a series of lithographs of derelict and abandoned buildings I am listing. All are the same size and obviously from the same print-maker. Other than the artists' names they prints are not identified.
If you want more than one lithograph email me and I'll adjust the shipping. Up to 3 for the one shipping and perhaps more.
