This was Herriot's first book in a decade and continues his joyful stories of life as a country vet in the Yorkshire Dales.
Stated first edition from St. Martin's Press, copywrited in 1992. 342 pages. Condition is near fine. Looks like something dripped from an upper shelf onto the upper edge of the book. The stain does not extend into the page nor is it on the cover or boards. This is a difficult book to find and was published just 3 years before Herriot's death. If you are trying to complete the 5 volume collection of his stories, this is a great addition.
