A very rare edition of Romola by George Eliot that was published in 1910 by Ward Lock and Co. Limited. The book is leather bound in burgundy Moroccan leather and imprinted with gold on spine and front cover. It has a silk ribbon book marker. The book is in really great condition except for the missing fly page. It has the usual page tanning but it is not dark nor unreadable. The pages were once gilt edged but only the gilt on the top remains. Perhaps that is all there ever was. The book is 576 pages.
