This charming old world print was made by a modern day artist. It looks like a colored etching but the print is made from a larger oil painting. The scene is Dunster. the town in the UK where he lives and where his paintings, prints and greeting cards are on sale in galleries. The print is signed on the mat by Maurice Bishop. It is nicely matted and framed in two tones of wood with gold inner frame. The back is sealed from the framer and ready to hang.
Total diminsions are 10 x 13 inches and the print opening is 5.25 x 8.25 inches. The total package looks like it just came from the framers. The pics with the creamier mat are the accurate color of the work. Would look great in a small nook on its own or take an impressive place in a picture grouping.
