This is a really nicely bound copy the the children's classic Madeline in America by Ludwig Bemelmans and illustrated by John Bemelmans Marciano. This is a stated first edition October 1999. The book contains Madeline in America, The Count and the Cobbler, A Bemelmans Christmas Memory (by Barbara Bemelmans), Sunshine, and a list of famous sites to look for in the stories. The book is lavishly illustrated, mostly in color, with pictures to encourage conversation about the story and picture.
