A Good House is a novel by Bonnie Burnard follows three generations of the Chambers family from the time Bill returns from the second world war to the 1990s. The book is about ordinary people living ordinary lives and the complexities of the human heart that goes unnoticed by outsiders. The book won the Giller Prize in 1999.
This is a first edition, 5th printing, ISBN 0-00-225526-X. The Giller Prize sticker is affixed to the jacket. The book is hard cover, unmarked and unremaindered with near fine dust jacket. My guess is that this was once read--carefully. It is 283 pages. Publisher is HarperFlamingo Canada. Copyright 1999.
