This copy of Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defoe was published prior to Christmas 1951. There is a dated gift inscription, but has no publishing date. Blackie and Son is/was an old British publisher and this is one of the Blackie's Famous Books series.
This is hardback with blue-green cloth covered boards with illustration and illustrated dust jacket. Dust jacket is in fair condition with missing upper front right corner and other lesser tears. It is price clipped. Spill stain on back that soaked through to upper book cover. Book pages are not effected. Book is in very good condition. Clean other than the gift inscription inside cover. Book is tight and has relatively little browning. 317 pages.
