A wonderful copy of The Original Mother Goose nursery rhymes (spelled rimes in this book) with pictures by Blanche Fisher Wright. This is a wonderful book to introduce rhyming, the music of language, and appreciation of the past. It is also a great nostalgia trip for those in their dotage.
Many of the illustrations are full page and worthy of framing. The book is cloth covered boards, published in 1992 by Running Press, Philadelphia based on the 1916 classic Mother Goose. This is the 10th printing. The book is in excellent condition. The top corners of the cover are slightly less than perfect and there is a gift inscription dated 1999 inside. It is on dark green paper and hardly noticable. Otherwise the book is in fine clean condition.
