This book is a must for the wedding planner, the tireless romantic, or anyone dreaming about an intimate, elegant wedding, past or future. If your favorite magazines are Modern Bride and Architectural Digest, this book belongs in your library.
John Loring was Tiffany's design director when he compiled this book. Obviously it features a lot of Tiffany designs but it is full of wonderful ideas for home, garden or cozy inn weddings and receptions. The photography is lush with gorgeous antique gowns, sumptious table settings and floral arrangements.
It is full of information too. Some of these ideas are equally adaptable for elegant dinner parties and buffets. You'll get lots of pleasure from just looking. It's eye candy for the romantic.
This is a stated first edition, ex-libris and very hard to find. It has the usual library remains and a torn frontispage. Otherwise the book is in very good condition. Published by Doubleday in 1988. ISBN 0-385-24101-1.
