This coffee table book is for bird lovers, bird watchers, vets, ornthology students, or anyone curious about how birds do what they do best--fly and migrate. If you thought "Winged Migration" was wonderful. This is the perfect companion book.
It is in perfect, gift-giving condition and doesn't look as though it was ever read. The person who sold it to me said it was signed but I've not found a signature so I'm not pricing it as a signed book.
It is by Colin Harrison with Howard Loxton and covers the evolution, behaviour, species, physiology, and conservation of birds. It also considers the interaction of people and birds throughout history, and birds in art. A wonderful volume for anyone who ever watched a bird and marveled.
Publisher is Blandford, London in 1993. ISBN 0-7137-2350-5. It is a first edition.
